We had a wonderful day at Morefield Mines. The kids dug for minerals and had fun just getting dirty and playing in the mud. We really didn't find anything great but the kids don't know that :)Here are some pictures from our day....

I remember taking my children there several times. We always had a great time. Lots of dirty clothes to wash afterward, too!
I heard they are going to be closing. Do you know if that's true? That would be a shame because it's such a good place for a field trip.
The pictures are very sweet!!
There was a For Sale sign out so I guess it's up for sale.
